So just within the past few months I've become completely hooked on homemade udon soup. My stepdad puts thinly sliced rare elk or deer steak in his (OMG)... But for lack of such wild animals in my fridge, tonights udon features chicken and shrimp with tofu, egg and veggies. #nomnom

My family got together over the weekend for our annual traditional Danish Christmas Dinner complete with open-face sandwiches (4 varieties), cabbage, pickled eggs and smoked mackerel with lemon mousse dessert. My Bedste Moi is an amazing cook. I provided the Christmas Cheer (Jägermeister) to accompany this fine meal :)
